Carter Jackson, Principal, has a uniquely thorough grasp of industry regulations and technical requirements. With over a decade of experience practicing historic preservation, including roles at the local, state, and federal levels, he understands what is necessary to fulfill government regulatory requirements for historic redevelopment and rehabilitation projects of all types.

 

Jackson Preservation recognizes the special challenges and opportunities inherent to every project. We prioritize providing thorough and individualized preservation consulting services, from project planning and approvals through completion.

Documentation Studies

Documentation studies are permanent records of historic properties and can serve as a means of mitigation if a building is altered or demolished. 

Carter Jackson, Principal, has extensive experience researching and documenting historic buildings in England and the United States. He holds a PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from Boston University.
